Announcing Chenlong.Hu Personal Website Release 1.0

So happy and proud to announce the very first release of my own website, on the last day of the year 2018! Woohoo!

A short introduction

For many years, I've been telling myself that I should create a personal website for blog use. I've purchased my domain name chenlong.hu since 2016 and yeah, I've been very lazy/busy during these years :)

Finally, I managed to pull it off before the end of 2018, the idea is to build and maintain this website with what I learn day in day out. The IT industry changes nowadays in the blink of an eye, and it's always good to have this kind of extra motivation to keep learning.

While its main purpose is to share my experience in modern software development, I will also post/repost non-IT related stuff, it's a personal website, not a tech blog after all.

A few words to sum it up

• Built from scratch using ASP.NET core 2.1
• Serverless architecture in Azure
• Strengthened backend using Cosmos DB and Azure Function (For the storage & calculation part)
• A tiny touch of decoration using Bootstrap and JQuery (Might be transformed into SPA in the future but not sure yet :p)

• User authentification by email/password, OAuth 2.0
• Role-based authorization
• Globalization in Chinese, English, French
• Read/Comment/Search/Share Blogs
• Real-time tag collector

This is just a perfect start of 2019, and now it's time to keep working on it.
